Toorak Gardens
This renovation consisted of removing internal solid brick walls to create a spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen, laundry and bathrooms were completely renovated turning them into beautiful modern spaces. New timber flooring, carpets, robes and fresh paint throughout completed the transformation.
The kitchen was extended out and fitted with a 4-panel sliding door to maximise the view onto the back garden, pool and sunsets. The laundry entrance was relocated and both the kitchen extension and laundry walls were rendered.
The living room wall and fireplace were removed along with the dining room wall and entrance to the kitchen. Venetian plaster was applied to create a new feature living room wall.
New ceilings were installed in the new open plan living and dining area for a seamless finish.
Windows in the master bedroom were removed and bricked up to accommodate a wall of robes.

An ensuite was created for the master bedroom by relocating the entrance from the passage to the master bedroom.
The ensuite was completely replumbed to suit the new layout, a new window was installed along with new tiles, toilet suite, vanity with feature light, fittings and a frameless shower screen with vertical niche with glass shelving in the shower.
The main bathroom was fitted with a new window, tiles, toilet suite, vanity with feature light, fittings and a semi-frameless shower with feature tiling and horizontal niche.
The laundry was replumbed, fitted with a new window, joinery, tiles, toilet suite and vanity with feature light to serve as a dual-purpose area.
An internal entrance to the laundry was created from the adjoining family room which involved removing part of the wall and the chimney.

The remaining 3 bedrooms were freshened up with new carpets and the old robes were replaced with new sliding robes.
The old linen cupboard was also replaced with new joinery.
All the doors were replaced throughout the home with new modern door furniture.

The kitchen was extended enclosing the existing porch under the main roof.

A walk in pantry was incorporated in the new kitchen layout utlising the old passage cupboard space behind the kitchen and reconfiguring the laundry.
